Protegrity Advisors Names Eric Langmack Vice President
Protegrity Advisors, a leading M&A firm based on Long Island, is delighted to announce that Eric Langmack has been promoted to Vice President.
Previously Director of Financial Modeling and Valuations, Langmack has been with Protegrity for more than five years and brings over 20 years of experience to Protegrity clients. With most M&A transactions valued as a multiple of adjusted EBITDA, the ability to prepare and present professional financial statements in a manner that can be firmly supported is critical to a successful transaction. Langmack is an expert at identifying and analyzing key business and financial metrics and translating them into sophisticated financial models and projections. This process is critical to ensuring that Protegrity’s clients receive the maximum value from potential buyers, which include public and private companies, private equity firms, and family offices.
Langmack graduated at the top of his class with a Master’s in Finance from the University of Iowa and received the second highest score in the U.S. out of 65,000 people on the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. Langmack subsequently earned the Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) designation.
“I’m very pleased that Eric will serve as Vice President,” said Gregg Schor, CEO of Protegrity Advisors. “He is an important leader on our team, and it’s common for clients to comment at some point during the transaction process that Eric knows more about their companies than they do! Protegrity itself is growing rapidly, and with the increase in our deal activity poised to continue – and even accelerate – in 2020, it is comforting for me to know that we have such high-quality professionals advising our clients.”
